In 2007, a transformative moment in sports history unfolded when two visionaries crossed paths. Brett Brungardt, whose court side wisdom was shaped by years of training elite athletes from the Dallas Mavericks to the courts of China, had long dreamed of revolutionizing how we measure athletic potential. His passion for unlocking human performance found its perfect complement in Martin Haase, a brilliant technologist whose mastery of data and software development promised to bridge the gap between raw talent and scientific precision.

What began as a shared vision quickly blossomed into Basic Athletic Measurement (BAM), a groundbreaking venture that would forever change the landscape of athletic assessment. Their innovative approach struck such a powerful chord that within their first year, they achieved what many considered impossible - securing the NBA as a client. This remarkable partnership has since flourished into a 15-year legacy as the official combine testing service for the NBA Draft, where dreams are measured and futures are forged.

The BAM story entered an exciting new chapter in 2017 with the addition of Chris Amerson. Chris brought more than just marketing expertise - he brought the gift of storytelling, helping to weave BAM's technical excellence into compelling narratives that resonate with athletes and organizations alike. Today, BAM's influence extends far beyond professional basketball, empowering Division I universities, leagues, and youth sports organizations with the tools to discover and develop the next generation of athletic talent.
